Did you know that fashion is considered the second most polluting industry in the world, only behind the oil industry?

Therefore, in November 2018, our founder Fabiola Polli decided to build Chicfashic: a unique eco-friendly platform which allows members to buy, sell, rent or swap clothes from anywhere in the world.

One unique feature of the platform is that individuals meet up locally in order to exchange their items because it eliminates any pollution generated by shipping and packaging goods.

We also believe that it creates a sense of bonding and brings those with a similar mindset closer together.

In addition, we have arranged many events in the local communities of Italy, the Netherlands, England. These include clothing swaps, which were always sold out, and workshops to promote sustainable alternatives to fast fashion: on March 15th we will have our first workshop in collaboration with Green Office VU, to which it is totally free to sign up!
