Monday 16th of March 2015 the Green Office had its first training provided by RootAbility. RootAbility drives the sustainability transition of the European higher education sector, by establishing and coaching student-driven and staff-supported sustainability units, such as the Green Office.
The team – together with volunteers – learned about sustainability from a personal point of view as well its position in higher education. Furthermore, our team learned about engaging all the stakeholders in the green movement. The participants also worked on some projects and events. We can’t wait to get cracking on all the new projects and ideas we got!
The training ended with the Lego game, where the participants were challenged to work together towards a common goal, but with individual roles. The results were very interesting! Want to try the Lego Game yourself? Join us for our next volunteer meeting.
Lastly, we would like to thank Felix Spira and Tim Strasser for their inspiring and fun workshop.
